Vicky (sometimes called Vick) is a graduate of the 2017 intake, especially notable for having completed the programme in two years [SD 10] rather than the standard three. She is dating Lorna, with whom she shares a house in Almsworth off the Saints campus; they share the house with two girls unaffiliated with the Hall, and rent the top floor together. [SD 3] Vicky has stated her intent to marry Lorna. [SD 8]
Vicky is 180 cm (5'11") tall [LL] and Christine considers her unusually attractive, even by Dorley girl standards. [SD 3] Shahida thinks that she "looks like a Victoria. Elegant, you know?" [SD 26] Faye considers her "classically beautiful". [SD 35]
Vicky is widely regarded as a kind, upbeat, and loving person by those around her. However, despite her happy and capable demeanor, Christine and Lorna both report that Vicky gets "scared" sometimes, particularly when she is alone and in the dark, presumably related to experiences prior to her time at the Hall; [SD 10] Lorna describes Vicky sometimes experiencing PTSD-like symptoms where it seems like "someone is coming for her". Lorna also alludes that, unbeknownst to her Sisters, Vicky secretly has self-esteem issues. [SD 18]
Vicky is currently studying Philosophy at Saints; [SD 47] she first met Lorna while in the program. [SD 20]
Gender
Vicky has a cisgender NPH and claims that she is not trans -- she has explained herself as simply being "adaptable" and "very eager to leave her old self behind". [SD 6] Ad hoc diagnostic tools have proven inconclusive (Christine has shown Vicky reddit egg memes to no reaction) and Vicky reports having never felt "eggy feelings" or gender dysphoria. [SD 20]
Nevertheless, Paige refers to her as a "painfully obvious uncracked egg" [SD 14] and she, [SD 20] Abby, [SD 18] and Edy all believe that she would have eventually transitioned even without the Hall's intervention [SD 21] (a view Lorna also accepts), [SD 20] and Aunt Bea lumps her in with Melissa and Steph as trans girls. [SD 45] Lorna states that prior to her being read in, "play-acting as a cis girl" for her "hurt" Vicky; Jodie compares Vicky's cis NPH to Paige's: "they hate it". [SD 22]

New Personal History
Before being read in, Lorna explores many details of Vicky's NPH:
- She attended school in Thelingford
- She has a childhood friend on Facebook who claims the relationship has soured
- Her parents, both only children, died together in an accident
- Following her parents' death, she spent time couch-surfing across Australia and taking cash jobs in bars
- She stayed at Dorley Hall for a period of time as a disadvantaged student; she met all her friends there but doesn't like to talk about it.
Pre-transition
Christine confesses that she does not know what Vicky was brought to the Hall for. [SD 6]
After being read in and learning her true personal history, Lorna states that "Vicky was always kinda sorta in waiting. The girl in hiding. The… bad stuff, the things she did, that was her beating on the walls of her prison.” [SD 20]
When Lorna tells Shahida that the Hall saves boys who have been "really badly hurt" and "who are turning that hurt out on other people" and "potentially building up to something really, really awful", Vicky agrees that she was "the boy who was going to go off" and that she had been "lashing out". She mentions that she does not like to talk about it. [SD 25]
Intake
Christine describes the 2017 intake as originally being mainly a group of "introverts" who had been selected due to "social rather than physical" violence. [SD 17] After Craig washed out, the intake gradually split into "two-and-a-half cliques" -- Christine, Paige, and Vicky in one, Julia and Yasmin in another, and Jodie and her sponsor alone. Yasmin later speculates that they were all too alike to stand each other's company. [SD 29]
Early graduation
Aunt Bea remarks that Vicky is the first two-year graduate of the Hall in "quite some time". [SD 10] Christine recalls:
It’s hard not to admire Vicky, who entered the programme the same week as Christine but graduated in an almost unprecedented two years. It was like she understood, from the first moment, what was being asked of her, and set out to achieve it as quickly and completely as possible. Her drive, her determination, her skill [...] are all beyond impressive, and yet she’s unfailingly kind, straightforward, and helpful. [SD 3]
Vicky caught on early to the true nature of the programme and "immediately started evangelising girlhood to the rest of them", [SD 17] arguably hurrying the development of the rest of her cohort along with her; [SD 8] Maria claims she had a "distorting effect" on the rest of her intake. [SD 33] Paige states that one day "it was like she woke up from a bad dream, and she was just… Vicky.” [SD 20] Christine recalls Vicky seemingly having made a year's worth of progress in a month; [SD 6] by the end of her first year she had already "booked her facial surgery, persuaded her sponsor to let her name herself, and had been allowed up to the kitchen to meet the second- and third-years at least a dozen times."
Vicky always did like to play the host. It had been barely a week into their second year before she had [Christine and Paige] and Jodie over to her room, and had them sit in communal confusion while she served drinks and snacks and engaged them all in enthusiastic conversation about what they were going to do with their new lives. At the time, Christine assumed Vicky was just revelling in feeling normal again, after their year underground; now, looking back, it seems more likely that she felt normal for the first time in her life. [SD 21]
Christine recalls Vicky waiting with "increasing impatience" for her orchiectomy at six months into the first year [SD 8] and reacting with "undisguised joy" after the procedure. [SD 32] Christine credits Vicky with helping her recover from a depressive episode following her own orchiectomy. [SD 8]
Maria jokes that prior to Steph's arrival, Vicky held the record for "fastest self-claimed she pronoun". [SD 15] Christine had trouble adopting Vicky's new pronouns early on; Vicky would apparently retaliate by kicking her. Christine later learned that Paige asked Vicky to stop kicking her under the reassurance that she was not malicious, just "slow". [SD 14]
Christine recalls that Vicky did not have physical relations with other members of her intake, likely due to her accelerated actualization compared to the rest of her cohort. [SD 8]
Vicky's NPH was completed in 2018. [SD 22]
Paige recalls that despite her quick progress, Vicky still had to learn "how to leave the Hall" and "be Vicky" in the real world. [SD 12]
After graduation
By 2019, Vicky continues to hang around the Hall, both because she still has friends there and because she can steal estrogen for her girlfriend, Lorna. Christine enabled the scheme by giving her the code to the secure medicine locker and believes it to be a well-kept secret [SD 3] only to find out later that Vicky has not been careful enough to keep senior Hall staff from becoming aware of the subterfuge. [SD 18] Despite having moved in with Lorna, Vicky still "officially" resides at the Hall and keeps a bedroom on the third floor; [SD 7] in her absence, Paige has commandeered it for extra storage for her wardrobe, from which Vicky and Lorna often steal clothes. [SD 8]
Vicky visits Christine in her room on October 16th and gives her advice on navigating the programme following comments from Aunt Bea regarding a lack of progress in her "continued feminine development". That afternoon, Vicky attends a protest at the Anthill against Katherine Frost with Lorna, Indira, and Christine. [SD 8]
On October 25th, Vicky attends Aunt Bea's 55th birthday party with Abby, Paige, and Christine. Vicky and Abby comfort Paige after Nell has a triggering outburst at Faye. [SD 9] Later, Vicky is present when Christine and Paige re-enter the dining hall after changing clothes into more glamorous outfits and joins them in the impromptu photoshoot. After the party she spends the night in Christine's room. [SD 10]
After a few aborted attempts to get Christine to go out clubbing, Vicky gets her to attend a night out with her and Paige at the Legend nightclub on October 26th to celebrate Lorna getting a date for her FFS. [SD 12]
Lorna
On November 27th, the day after Maria is attacked by Leigh, Vicky and Lorna pick Christine up from the hospital where she had spent the night watching over Maria. In the car, exhaustion causes Christine to slip up and ask Vicky for pills (her estrogen), which raises Lorna's suspicions. Stopping by Café One on campus, Lorna corners Christine and presses her for information; Christine improvises a lie that she and Vicky are both on the same SNRI. Back at the Hall, Christine messages Vicky on Consensus to apologize and get their story straight. Vicky confesses that she is "sick" of hiding her true history from Lorna, who believes she is cis. [SD 18]
By the 30th, Lorna has recently noticed Vicky's SRS scars, forcing Vicky to lie to her again. [SD 19] After thoroughly investigating Vicky's background and coming up unsatisfied, Lorna visits Dorley Hall to speak with Christine on December 2nd; when she arrives, Christine is tasked with reading her in. Once Lorna signs an NDA, Christine reveals her true personal history and the story of her time at the Hall. When Lorna struggles to believe the truth, Christine recruits Steph, accompanied by Pippa, to come upstairs to talk to her before Paige and Vicky arrive. When Vicky finally arrives, she and Lorna retreat to her room to speak privately. Afterward, Christine follows Steph into Vicky's room, where Lorna promises to keep the Hall's secrets for Vicky's sake. [SD 20]
On December 5th, Christine and Paige are called away from the Hall to Vicky and Lorna's house to confront Lorna, who Vicky reports is working herself up to do something to release Vicky from her responsibilities at the Hall. When Lorna reveals that she is planning on blackmailing Aunt Bea, Christine attempts to warn her off by telling her the story of Karen's recent disposal to illustrate the danger she would be inviting; Lorna takes the story as an intimidation tactic and angrily compares Christine to her past self, misgendering and accusing her of continuing to threaten women, only now on Bea's behalf. Christine crumples into a dissociative state and Paige intercedes on her behalf, chastising Lorna for throwing her trauma back at her. Paige reveals Christine's close relationship with Indira, whose mother, Aasha, Lorna knows from trans rights protests, and outlines the catastrophic damage to the trans community that exposing the Hall would result in. Lorna finally relents; later, when Christine has recovered, the two share a moment alone where Lorna apologizes for her behavior. Lorna informs Christine that she has decided to think of all the Dorley girls as trans women going forward. Christine invites her back to the hall to join Steph for an electrolysis consultation and speculates that the Hall may be able to fund her GRS. The two return to the living room where Vicky and Lorna trick her into playing Bloodborne. [SD 21] Following the visit, Vicky and Christine's friendship is restored. [SD 22]
Further adventures
After she is read in, Vicky makes a spreadsheet to help Lorna "get up to speed" on all the girls in the Hall. On December 11th, Vicky accompanies Lorna to the Hall for her promised GRS and electrolysis consults before leaving to attend lectures. After lunch Vicky returns to the Hall to pick up Lorna and notices Shahida putting up a missing persons poster for Mark Vogel, Melissa's old identity, on the corkboard in the entranceway. [SD 22] The two follow Shahida out onto the path and inquire about the posters; they learn that Shahida has recently returned from abroad and is searching for closure regarding Mark's disappearance. Afterward, Vicky declares to Lorna that she wants to part of whatever drama is potentially unfolding. Back in the Hall, no one is able to contact Melissa or Abby for information on Shahida; Vicky volunteers to give Mrs Prentice and Tanya a lift rather than be further drawn into the crisis. [SD 23]
Vicky and Lorna respond to an alert from Tabitha when Shahida returns to the Hall on December 12th and, at Lorna's urging, arrive in time to help assist Tabitha and Paige in reading her in. [SD 25]
Maria begins officially providing estrogen to Vicky for Lorna on December 16th. Later that morning, Vicky is present in the kitchen while Christine helps Yasmin with her new goal of better socializing with her Sisters; Vicky offers to hang out with her for the afternoon. She looks on as Aunt Bea apologizes to Yasmin on behalf of the Hall for not doing a better job at socializing her and Julia to begin with. Shortly after, she and Lorna meet Rachel, who has been permitted to visit. [SD 27]
Vicky and Lorna attend the 2019 Christmas Eve party together. [SD 30] She is present in the kitchen the next morning when Chrisine notices Aaron lost in thought and shares the story of "the moment" she found herself following her depressive episode after her orchi. [SD 32]
On January 2nd, 2020, Vicky and Lorna attend the second years' skating rink excursion organized by Paige; at one point, she falls on her butt. [SD 35]
Vicky and Lorna go out dancing with Christine, Paige, Jodie, Yasmin, and Julie on January 11th. [SD 39] Vicky gets breakfast with Lorna, Christine, and Paige at Egg Nation on the 13th and checks in on Christine's progress, noting that she is no longer struggling with her feminine presentation skills. [SD 41]
On January 13th, Vicky receives an alert while out getting lunch with Lorna. They return to the Hall and a join a briefing where Indira breaks the news of the bodies discovered at Stenordale Manor. [SD 42]
Following word of Stephanie's impending departure, Vicky accompanies Lorna to the basement along with Maria, Christine, and Pippa on January 30th; the two hang out for the evening and give Steph, Beth, and others in attendance advice on passing in public and some limited insight on feminizing surgeries. [SD 47]

Trivia
- Vicky does not seem to be much of a gamer -- she is unable to differentiate between an Xbox and Playstation [SD 3] -- but seems fairly well-versed in Bloodborne lore thanks to Lorna. [SD 10]
- She drives a "distinctive" hatchback with one blue door. [SD 18]
Notes on biographical information
- Gender at intake: Despite the considerable in-story speculation that Vicky may have been trans prior to intake, Christine states that Vicky herself believes she was a cis male at intake ("She says she isn’t [trans]. Just adaptable."), [SD 6] and so we record her accordingly here.
- Deadname: despite being fully read in, Lorna declines to learn Vicky's deadname; likewise, Vicky does not know Lorna's. [SD 20]
- Archetype: Beth makes a seemingly accurate metatextual observation that Vicky is, in American teen dramedy terms, "the dark horse cheerleader who doesn’t play a major role in the plot but she gets an episode every season focused on her love life and another focused on her secret lifelong trauma, and she comes out to support the main girl in every season finale."
