Chapter 16: What She's Looking For is the first chapter of the second book of the series, and the sixteenth chapter overall.
The title is in reference to a modified version of You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift which Paige rewrote in reference to Christine.
The chapter contains six scenes, covering the fortnight from Saturday 9 to Friday 22, November 2019.
Plot
- Stef flagellates himself about his being outed as a trans woman to the sisters of Dorley, when Christine remotely upgrades his PC, and Aaron turns up
- Stef and Aaron have an illicit early-morning shower
- Christine gets reassurance from Indira and Abby over Paige and Stef
- Monica gives a lecture on feminism after the basement dwellers learn Declan was removed overnight
- Stef gets a visit from Christine and Paige
- Aaron just has to tell Stef about his nipple sensitivity
